30 April 2026Indigenously and originally developed by Baykar, the next-generation kamikaze UAV K2 and Sivrisinek loitering munition unveiled the combat concept of the future during a demonstration held in Keşan. The tests showcased AI-supported swarm autonomy, GNSS-independent navigation, automatic target detection, and strike capabilities. The K2 Kamikaze UAV and Sivrisinek will be exhibited to the public for the first time at SAHA 2026, taking place on 5-9 May.

The platform, featuring multi-operation capabilities and advanced AI and autonomy algorithms, successfully completed formation flight tests with 5 aircraft in varying configurations.

During NATO's Steadfast Dart-2026 exercise, the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV, deployed aboard TCG ANADOLU, successfully completed its flight demonstration over the Baltic Sea despite freezing cold, heavy snowfall, and severe winds. As the only aircraft capable of flying in the harsh weather conditions during this phase of the exercise, the Bayraktar TB3 received full marks from allied nations' representatives.
