The SEAWOLF-I/2025 exercise witnessed historic moments. Two Bayraktar TB3 UCAVs, launched from Türkiye’s first UCAV carrier TCG Anadolu, flawlessly destroyed their targets in the Eastern Mediterranean phase of the drill. Meanwhile, a Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV that took off from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) hit its targets with pinpoint accuracy using three different types of munitions.
Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Türkiye’s first unmanned fighter aircraft developed indigenously by Baykar, has successfully completed its first live-fire test within its test program, striking with full accuracy using TOLUN and TEBER-82 munitions.
Oct. 8, 2025, 10:45 p.m.Italian Deputy Minister of Defense Matteo Perego di Cremnago, Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Antonio Conserva, Army Commander Lieutenant General Carmine Masiello, and Deputy Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, together with their accompanying delegation, examined Baykar’s game-changing technologies on site. The high-level delegation observed flight and live-fire demonstrations and received a comprehensive briefing on Baykar’s vision for the future.
Oct. 7, 2025, 8:54 p.m.The test campaign for Baykar’s indigenously developed KEMANKEŞ 1 AI-powered mini cruise missile is progressing successfully. In last week’s live-fire trial from a Bayraktar AKINCI HALE UCAV, KEMANKEŞ 1 scored pinpoint hits on airborne targets, destroying ground targets with the same accuracy.
July 4, 2025, 11:04 a.m.Baykar has completed its acquisition of Piaggio Aerospace, the 140-year-old Italian aviation giant. Under the agreement, Piaggio’s facilities will serve as a strategic European hub for producing both the P.180 Avanti Evo and Baykar’s indigenously UCAVs.

The two tech giants have established a 50-50 joint venture, LBA Systems, headquartered in Italy. The new company will focus on the entire lifecycle of unmanned aerial systems — from design and development to production and maintenance. June 16, 2025, 6:34 p.m.Bayraktar TB3, the world’s first UCAV capable of fully autonomous takeoff and landing from a short-runway vessel, has marked a major milestone by completing 100 successful sorties during ongoing test operations on the TCG Anadolu. The most recent trials included evaluations of its vision-based, AI-assisted fully automatic takeoff and landing systems.
June 3, 2025, 8:30 a.m.Bayraktar TB3, the first UCAV in global aviation history to autonomously take off and land on a short-runway vessel, achieved a major success on the Distinguished Observer Day of the SEAWOLF 2025 Exercise. Taking off consecutively from TCG Anadolu cruising in the Mediterranean, Bayraktar TB3 UCAVs carried out two salvo strikes against land targets with direct hits.
