We Are Baykar

Having favored domestic and indigenous production to promote Türkiye’s technological independence since 1986, Baykar recently emerged as the pioneer of a new momentum promising to transform the Turkish defense and aviation industry. We are proud to take our engineering enterprise, which originally operated in the auto industry, to the skies with a new generation of engineers and to have become one of the world’s select developers of unmanned aerial vehicles. As we built Türkiye’s first indigenous UAVs, our main source of motivation has been to trust our engineers and brainpower.

That same culture of constant production and development plays a key role in the success of Baykar’s defense technologies which entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory and have been exported to dozens of countries. Our work at the Baykar R&D Center, which was certified by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, we focus on designing paradigm-shifting, cutting-edge technology with our indigenous capabilities. Our result-oriented and highly-motivated team spirit, coupled with intertwined R&D and production processes, facilitate the dynamic application of new technologies. In addition to designing, building and producing unmanned and autonomous technologies, we strive to ensure that all social groups, including military personnel and industrialists, embrace them.

With its unprecedented achievements in Turkish aviation and defense thanks to its self-financed R&D activities and 93 percent localization rate, Baykar continues to develop the world’s most advanced technological systems in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.
