The MIZRAK Intelligent Loitering Munition System, indigenously and originally developed by Baykar — the pioneer of Türkiye's high-technology ecosystem — will make its debut at SAHA 2026, the meeting point of the global defense industry. Poised to open a new era in munition technology, the platform will become the new "spearhead" of the modern battlefield with its surface-to-surface deep operation capability, high strike power, and flexible mission profiles.
40 KG WARHEAD
Deriving its name from its spear-like aerodynamic form and its high destructive capability against targets, MIZRAK is offered in two main configurations. The system delivers high explosive power with its twin-warhead variant totaling 40 kg, while its single-warhead variant is equipped with a 20 kg payload complemented by an RF (Radio Frequency) seeker head for precise target detection. Featuring a 4-meter wingspan, the platform also affords operators extensive reconnaissance and surveillance capability through EO (Electro-Optical) or IR (Infrared) camera options developed by Baykar, selectable according to mission type.
ALL-CONDITION TAKEOFF FROM RUNWAY OR BY ROCKET
MIZRAK also distinguishes itself from its counterparts through operational flexibility. Capable of conventional runway takeoff with standard landing gear, the system can likewise conduct missions in challenging terrain or on unimproved airstrips thanks to its Rocket-Assisted Take-Off (RATO) option. With an operational range exceeding 1,000 kilometers and endurance of more than 7 hours, it combines long-duration surveillance and real-time destruction capability within a single airframe for cross-border operations.
GPS-INDEPENDENT MISSIONS WITH AI SUPPORT
Equipped with AI-assisted autopilot and optical guidance systems, MIZRAK can perform fully autonomous missions in complex operational environments. Owing to its sensor fusion support and built-in visual positioning capability, it can locate its target with high precision even in areas saturated with electronic warfare elements or where GPS (Global Positioning System) signals are denied. Providing top-tier protection against jamming through its anti-jamming systems, the platform elevates operational safety to the highest level.
VERSATILE FORCE MULTIPLIER
MIZRAK ensures uninterrupted communication with Bayraktar TB2, TB3, and AKINCI via the digital data and video link developed by Baykar. In addition to its line-of-sight (LOS) communication range exceeding 80 kilometers, with optional satellite communication support it can be integrated into a communication network extending beyond those limits — operating in coordination with other aerial platforms within the network-centric warfare concept and transforming into a versatile force multiplier.
1,000+ KM RANGE
Distinguished by its technical specifications, MIZRAK features a 4-meter wingspan and a maximum takeoff weight of 200 kilograms, reaching a maximum speed of 100 KIAS (approximately 185 km/h) and operating at a service ceiling of 10,000 feet. Standing out with its 40-kilogram payload capacity, MIZRAK can also carry out long-range missions thanks to its operational range exceeding 1,000 kilometers and endurance of over 7 hours.
