BAYKAR PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR PALESTINIAN STUDENTS

Baykar and YTB Launch "Palestine Joint Scholarship Program" to Cover All Education, Accommodation, and Travel Expenses for 200 Palestinian Students Studying in Türkiye.

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Baykar have launched the "Palestine Joint Scholarship Program" cooperation protocol with the aim of supporting Palestinian students studying in Türkiye under the "Türkiye Scholarships" scheme. The protocol signing ceremony was held at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar and YTB President Abdulhadi Turus.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 200 PALESTINIAN STUDENTS
Under the protocol, Palestinian candidates pursuing associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in Türkiye will be eligible for scholarship support. Within the framework of the 2026 planning cycle, a total of 200 Palestinian students — 160 undergraduate, 30 graduate, and 10 doctoral — will benefit from the program. All scholarship amounts, accommodation expenses, round-trip airfare, and projct-related costs required by the students throughout their education will be covered by Baykar.
TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CONTINUES
The "Türkiye Scholarships–Baykar Joint Technology Scholarship Program," jointly administered by Baykar and YTB, is also ongoing. Launched under an agreement between the two institutions on December 3, 2022, the program provides four-year scholarship support to 200 international students from 18 countries pursuing engineering disciplines in Türkiye.
