ISTANBUL — Azerbaijan has opened a training facility and hanger for a new Akinci drone, confirming the country bought the Turkish-made combat system.

RIYADH, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Turkish defence company Baykar has started building a factory near Kyiv that will employ around 500 people and where it will manufacture either its TB2 or TB3 drone models, the company's chief executive told Reuters.

UAE tech group EDGE will integrate precision-guided munition into Turkey’s Bayraktar TB2 combat drones.

During the test conducted at the Akıncı Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, the Bayraktar TB3 UAV remained continuously in the air at an average altitude of 20,000 feet for 32 hours.
