The AKINCI UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle), developed indigenously and originally by Baykar, continues to expand its operational capabilities and integrate an increasing range of long-range munitions. In a recent test, the AKINCI successfully struck a target more than 250 kilometers away using the UAV-300 supersonic ballistic missile developed by Roketsan.

DIRECT HIT FROM 250+ KILOMETERS
As part of the test, the AKINCI took off from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ and transited to the test area over the Black Sea. In the test conducted off the coast of Sinop, a maritime target was struck with a direct hit by the UAV-300 munition fired from the AKINCI. Following the successful completion of the firing test, the AKINCI returned to Çorlu along its planned route.

LAYERED STRIKE CAPABILITY
The integration of the UAV-122 and UAV-230 supersonic missiles into the AKINCI had previously been completed successfully. With the successful integration of the UAV-300 missile as well, AKINCI's long-range, high-impact strike capacity has been elevated to a new level. AKINCI, capable of deploying a wide variety of munitions tailored to different mission needs against both ground and air targets, has once again demonstrated its strategic mission capability through its extensive range of indigenous munitions.

MISSION DIVERSITY WITH INDIGENOUS MUNITIONS
To date, as part of the indigenous UCAV's development and munitions integration efforts, the following have been successfully integrated: MAM-L, MAM-L TV, MAM-T, MAM-T IIR/TV, MAM-C, the TOLUN munitions family, TEBER-81, TEBER-82, LAÇİN, LGK-81, LGK-82, HGK-82, the GÖKÇE Guidance Kit, the GÖZDE Guidance Kit, KGK-82-UCAV, the UAV-230 Supersonic Missile, the TV-seeker and laser-seeker variants of the UAV-122 Supersonic Missile, the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, and the EREN High-Speed Multi-Purpose Loitering Munition. Thanks to this diverse range of munitions — offering a variety of range, guidance, and warhead options — AKINCI has attained a layered operational and strike capability able to engage different target types from close range to long range.

EXPORT CHAMPION
Financing all of its projects entirely through its own resources since its founding, Baykar remained the world's largest exporter in the unmanned aerial vehicle segment in 2025 as well. Having maintained its leadership in the global UCAV market for the past three years, Baykar set a new record of its own with an export volume of $2.2 billion in 2025. Generating 90% of its revenue from exports in recent years, Baykar has become the driving force behind Türkiye's high-technology exports.

BAYKAR: THE WORLD'S LARGEST UAV COMPANY
Baykar ranked among Türkiye's top 10 exporters across all sectors in 2023, 2024, and 2025, earning the Export Champions Award, and was the export leader of the defense and aerospace sector in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 according to data from the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM). Having single-handedly accounted for a third of the sector's exports in 2023, Baykar went on to generate a quarter of the defense and aerospace sector's total exports on its own in 2024, propelling Türkiye to a leading position in the global UCAV export market. As the world's largest unmanned aerial vehicle company, Baykar has signed export agreements with a total of 39 countries — 36 for the Bayraktar TB2 UCAV and, to date, 16 for the AKINCI UCAV.
